Our Vision and Aims

Smilers Nursery aims to create a secure and inclusive environment where each child's unique needs, interests, and contributions are respected. Children build strong relationships with Keypersons, fostering a sense of value, confidence, and a love for learning. Through positive interactions, they develop essential communication skills and curiosity that prepares them for life. By connecting learning to real-life experiences and encouraging critical thinking, the nursery lays a solid foundation for future growth. Collaboration with parents and carers is integral to this approach.

  • To establish a purposeful and organised learning environment where displays are interactive to stimulate and promote learning.

  • To allow children to learn through experiences and to help them to become more resilient and confident learners.

  • To develop and establish the building blocks of learning to create a strong foundation for the development of independent lifelong learning.

  • To support and scaffold children through their personal learning journeys and develop their understanding of what they have done well and how they can continue

  • To create children that have a can do attitude, who seek out a challenge and take appropriate risks in their learning experience.

About Smilers

At Smilers Nursery, our goal is to provide a loving and supportive space where children can grow and develop in all areas—physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

Early Years (EYFS)

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) helps guide your child's early learning and growth, ensuring a fun and nurturing start from birth to age 5.
